We had heard about Cape Cod through a friend and we chose them because we were impressed with their approach, which seemed professional but not pushy, they were flexible in terms of working within our budget, and they had a lot of experience with extensions. We were wanting 2 extra bedrooms, a living space and a bathroom, as we had been feeling a bit cramped with two teenage kids, 3 small bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We also wanted to make sure when we added the second level, that we maximised the usable space both downstairs and upstairs.
We love our new addition and it has definitely given us the room we needed, and a second bathroom has been fantastic. We’ve enjoyed the build process and seeing it all come together fairly smoothly and within the allocated time. We are so grateful for all the hard work from our Design Consultant, Scott, and our Supervisor, Rob, and all the Cape Cod staff. They were all very responsive to our queries and concerns along the way and we have no hesitation recommending them to others.

We have just completed a second story addition with Cape Cod. This is our 4th large renovation so we have something to compare this experience to. On the whole we were extremely happy with the process, the quality, the communication and the end result.
Cape Cod took care of all the paperwork which can be very time consuming and frustrating. Their contractors were all very pleasant to work with and had great attention to detail.
We lived in the home through the renovation and they went out of their way to minimise the interference. Their after sales service to make sure the details were to our expectation has been excellent.
Ross was a pleasure to work with, very easy to communicate with and professional in his approach.
We would readily use Cape Cod in the future

We strongly recommend Cape Cod for second storey extensions. They are true experts in this field.
Our second storey extension matches the existing ground floor both externally and internally, with great attention to detail. The design and council applications were done in great detail and were successful.
The building phase was very well organised and very efficient. We are very happy with the quality and the final product.

Cape Cod were highly professional and well organised. Communication with Supervisor Aaron was always good and he kept us well informed. As we lived through the renovation, we appreciate the flexibility that Aaron was able to manage with us. Aaron addressed any issues on site and in a professional and customer-centric way and was quick to come up with alternatives to design and costing for variations. The design by Darek and communication through COVID was also very professional and helpful.
We were very pleased with Cape Cod from our initial design consultation with Darek through to finalising the design and starting the build. During the build, we had Aaron supervising and project managing the renovation. We lived onsite through the renovation and Aaron was a great communicator and always looking to optimise trades to keep to timelines. We made some variations along the way and had great advice from Aaron to help us fit within our budget. We would have no hesitation to recommend or use Cape Cod again.
